Some people just have to make up b.s. just to have something to say. If this is such a big joke, why have none of the 30-40 of us who HAVE these OEM deflectors on our cars had any issues with car washes? Why would Honda Canada sell an accessory that would be a constant problem?
Reason: car wash damage to this deflector is a myth. Pure bullshit.

It's not the carwash but rather the force of the dryer that usually blows them off! silly nubcake.

"G"ee, now that everyone here knows that you are a liar, maybe you should find some other forums to post on, or at least do research before you post your crap. NONE of the Honda OEM deflectors have blown off any Fits.

Please read the forum rules. No Profane language allowed on FitFreak.net.
Also guys, cut the arguing. This thread has good info, it would be a shame if i had to lock it. So please, "If you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all".

According to "G"enius here, he has SEEN SEVERAL of the OEM Honda Fit Hood Deflectors fly off the cars. An absolute lie.
If there is anyone in the North American continent who has ever lost a genuine OEM Honda deflector FROM A FIT, in a car wash, in a hurricane, in a tornado, PLEASE POST. Otherwise, this member is a complete waste of time.

And you can prove that exactly how? I'm certainly willing to believe that you couldn't install one properly and that that is the reason for the loss, but without proof, we just have another lie. I guess you must be posting here because they don't believe you anymore on the Midwest subforums.
While we are waiting for your proof, there are at least a dozen Canadians who post regularly and have these deflectors, and several dozen deflector owners in the U.S., also regular posters, who would immediately warn future buyers away if there had been any deflectors AT ALL that had come off in a car wash.
Let's see some proof- photos of hood damage, torn plastic from the deflector, anything at all.
