Anyone up for Pavilions this Saturday? Azsols will be going, but I will have my baby, so I have to take the Fit. One of the sales people from Showcase was debating on bringing out either a Mugen Fit, or a Mugen CR-Z, I told him to bring the CR-Z and if he wanted, he could show off my Fit, lol.

I'll be headed out there Between 3 and 3:30, not sure how long we are staying. My wife is bringing her white 2011 Fit sport at some point as well.

 

i might go depending on if i go the the fit meet in socal. if not the fit meet then the pavs.

 

'Nother Tucsonan here. I don't think I've ever seen a modified Fit in town, but I don't get over to the DM area very much. I'm also the youngest (29) out of the 4 or 5 Fit drivers I know.

Got my 2011 Vortex Blue sport at the beginning of May and am already planning/dreaming about mods. I was happy to find this forum.

 

I am starting to see more and more fits around town (not really a surprise), but I have yet to see another modded one. My buddy just got his 2011 black and we put the Mugen grill and lip on. I must say I do like that front end better than my stock one, but his and mine are the only Fits I have seen driving around lately with any sort of work done. If you need a place to get parts or have work done let me know, I have a good shop that I would recommend to anyone in the Tucson area.

 

I'm in mesa and my gd3 is boosted. Wouldn't mind driving for a meet. I drove all the way to cali for one. Tucson is a stones throw away. I haven't seen any modded fits in the valley.

 

It's starting to get pretty hot out, but I'd be up for a meet. Surprisingly, last night I saw two modded Fits in the span of about a minute!

One BOM GD3 turning onto Cactus by PV Mall, slammed on bronze wheels, Mugen visors. The other was a lowered VBP GD3 heading north on Tatum past Cactus. I got excited and thought there might be a meet by that In-N-Out there... my wife and I turned in to see, but nothing. LOL

 

Well someone should set up a meet then. I think there would be like 4-5 fits. That's good enough for me.

 

If someone else has time to organize and promote one, please do. Since moving to AZ, I've gotten married, bought a house, now have a dog, and work ain't lettin' up, so I wouldn't be of much use in that regard. I'll certainly show up if a date/location gets locked down. And please do it at night.

 

I keep trying to set something up, don;t see much interest though, at best Previc and I show up. though we've seen each others Fits, doubt we've seen each other in person though, lol.

 

We should do a Mount Lemmon, Kitt Peak, or any other mount run.

 

Ya I've never seen u in person lil blue. Lol. But anyways I can't do any high altitude canyon cruises. My car isn't tuned to the altitude. I went to mt lemon and my car was missing and dying if I was at a complete stop. I had to keep the idle up to keep it running. We could do a canyon lake cruise. Imo thats a better cruise but there is a little more traffic.

the only problem with this though is people don't come when they say they will. I know things come up but with a pretty good notice of the meet people should keep it on their calendars for the most part. lil blue and I have been inviting all the people that drive fit out to the pavs one more than one occasion but haven't got more that me and him there. people driving a fit isn't so popular here in az and thats y I've modded mine so much. I try to show people that it is a fun car and still get great mpgs.

Keep up the good ideas though we do really need to build the az fit community so let's get this meet going.

 

I am definitely down for a meet, but unfortunately I just had knee surgery yesterday so I am going to be down for a while. But once I am up and about again a meet sounds great and I am sure that my buddy with his 2011 Fit (Mugen front end) will gladly come along as well. Where about would we be talking about having a meet?

Yup I have taught her well My next car will likely be a red S2000 (its a toss up between red and black. All depends on when I have the money and whats availible).

We haven't been to the Pav's in a while. Tend to avoid it during the summer. Just to hot. I can't go this weekend but we need to get some people out there for sure.

No carbon body panels for the fit. It just doesn't look right to me. Maybe a little dress up or engine bay stuff down the road though. Next things for the fit are going to be an oil change, some HID's and painted brake calipers. Then nothing for a while until we can lower it (still convincing her on that one). Anyways we will have to plan something here soon.

 

Nice man. RE lowering, I still have my Tein S-Techs, if you want them. Although if those are 17s, they might rub a bit on bumps. Make me an offer if you want them. They're just sitting in their box in my garage.

3+ year bump. I still haven't seen many modded Fits in the East Valley. At the Pavillions, yes, but not on the street.

 

Still working on mine. My stupid seat brackets should be here by the 13th so not this coming weekend but next weekend may go to the pavillions. done a buttload of word and waiting to accentuate it with a fancy pair of carbon fiber racing seats
