Best winter wheels and tires

Hi, all.

I just noticed that winter is approaching, and our plan for my wife's new 2015 Fit EX was to get 4 separate wheels with winter tires so that swapping them out would be a snap.

I'm wondering if anyone could represent good but inexpensive 16" wheels and tires for a Fit EX -- I don't want to go extravagant on price, I just want something that will be effective.

Thanks!

as you will see in the other 3g forum, there are many opinions on this. the most cost effective route is to get 14" or 15" steel wheels and run general altimax artic or winterforce snow tires.

personally i went oem 15" steel wheels with the generals. very happy with their performance last season. but, any snow tire will be better than the best all season in the snowy weather.

Plain steel wheels and snow tires are all you need.

TPMS sensors if you want that to work.

u dont need tpms sensors since GKs dont use those anymore. makes it easier to swap out tires/wheels.
