The hardiness of ride....

I like my Bumble Bee, since I'm in CA, the roads are .... like driving on the 4x4 trails. Is it possible to soften the ride?

Not sure which wheel tire combo you have. But check your tire pressure first. The larger 16" wheels have a slightly lower profile tire so that will make it a tad bit more bumpy compared to the 15". Tires also makes a little difference too.

I went from the stock 185/60-15 to 195/60-15 and it is much quieter and smoother of a ride. Partly from a higher profile and partly from a different tire.

Yeah the highway 580 around Livermore area is very bumpy so good to know about the tires to try.

My EX-L is riding on OEM "Firestone".

Is there a way to switch the shocks/springs for softer ones?

Bad idea, the stock spring is good for the FIT. What your are feeling is the dampening isn't that great so you would want better shocks not springs. Don't know if any shocks are available currently. But as I mentioned tires makes a huge difference...with my new tires/wheels it is such a smoother and quieter ride.

Hi TaubBaer, I swapped the stock Bridgestone tires on my 2015 EX for Yokohama tires which significantly upgraded traction and grip for my 2008 Fit Sport (immediately felt like a pricier car), and has just as dramatically done so for my new ride. Both Fits changed from "oh boy, oh boy, lets go for a ride" to "yo, if you're ready, I'm ready". Ride and handling are typically sub-par with the stock offerings.
