FINALLY got around to buying bolts that fit the Throttle Body spacer. It was a huge PITA ... all local store only carried 60mm or 70mm bolts, 65mm was the length I needed. Amazon ... FTW. For anyone considering doing this ... know that shifting the throttle body does mess with the mounting location of the oem air box ... be warned.
(why didnt I cut it? I cant locate my dremel, its lost in a sea of moving boxes)

ALSO .... while I was in there and my hands already nice and dirty ... I went ahead and installed an air compressor inline moisture seperator. (AKA, oil catch can)
installed at 30k. def a noticeable amount of fluid in there after only 1 day (30 ish miles) of driving

thanks for the kind words guys. red emblems..... I'm actually kickin around the idea of blue ones .... time will tell =)
SO.... after 339 miles ... here is how much oil my "catch can" has collected, roughly 5ml:
oil catch can installed at 32000, temporarily removed at 32339:
for those who wonder, this is the oil I use. I went with the "high mileage" formula, I hear it has conditioners for the rings.... *shrug*
The day of the oil catch can install, I also installed the TB spacer. for the past week or so, I did notice my car has lost a decent amount of top end power. I'm wondering if its the catch can? Could it possibly be that the design of this moisture trap/moisture separator is somehow restricting flow?
For the next week or 2, I'm gonna experiment by removing the oil catch can, and seeing if it restores any of my top end. If I dont see any diff, I'll do the opposite and remove the TB spacer and reinstall the oil catch can and re observe. As always, I'll report back soon ish

Because it's actually catching oil, which means that oil isn't making it to the intake manifold and slobbering our intake valves.

5ml per 400 miles isnt THAT bad. Times that by 10 ... every 4000 miles driven should come out to 50ml of oil loss. Assuming I'm a thug and do oil changes every 8000 miles, that comes out to 100ml of oil loss.
100ml = 3.38oz
Oil Change Interval = 3.5 QT = 112oz
That comes out to roughly 3% oil loss, I think its fair to say, its within the realm of "safe"
