LG G2 here. I get the announcement to read. Sounds good. I can also click to reply but it is canned replies such as "Yes", "No", "OK"...you get the picture. If I then click "OK" and send it acts as if it all worked but my phone says text pending and shows a little clock next to it. Not sure where the hang-up is but I'm close.

I've never gotten the reply button to be active. It is always grey regardless of being parked or driving. I gave up figuring it out though because of ^ this. It doesn't really matter to me that I can't send one of six canned responses.

What's more irritating is that I can't see who the message is FROM while driving so I can call them back. I have to guess, or look at my phone which defeats the purpose.

Also, I do believe I read in the manual that you can sync EITHER texts OR emails, but not both. I didn't try to sync my mail though so I can't comment.

I use the same phone and it worked a few days ago on my EX. At a stop light I was able to read the text and choose one of 5 or 6 quick responses. It will not let you read the text while driving which I appreciate.

Makes it nice because it notifies you and will also read the message to you.
It worked! Thank you 😁😁😁

M8 used to receive and send texts though fit stereo.

Hi. My HTC M8 used to read my incoming and let me reply with pre texts that were already programmed on the cars system. Once my phone did the last update it stopped working. Now all the car does is read the texts that I send out as incoming texts. I think HTC has changed the folder settings on the phone which confuse the cars linking path. Any input?
