Help identifying part
I really did not do my research before going underneath our 2017 Honda Fit and what I thought was an oil plug, took forever to bring out. After a lot of time spent unscrewing the only bolt I could see under the car that was not hidden by the splash shields, I looked up the right way to change the oil to discover what I had been working on was not the oil plug.
Now I have a few problems, the bolt I was unscrewing will not screw in any further, it's not completely out and it won't go in no matter how much effort I put into it, I'm not sure what this really goes to, and I'm afraid to drive the vehicle.
Can anyone tell me what this bolt goes to? It was the only bolt under the car, at the center front of the vehicle, and I didn't have to remove any shields to get to it, was exposed and accessible. I used a 17mm ratchet bit to work on it.
Thanks for the help.

I'll see if I can get a pic. It's hard to describe other than it was the only bolt that was exposed under the car. It does spin, just doesn't seem to be going back in, just spins, yet it feels that it has its teeth in, not loose or about to come out.
