OEM Continental tires

How many miles do you get from those tires? My 2018 Fit base model, 15,000 miles and they have been rotated every 5,000 miles, fronts are near the wear bar already. I drive a mix of highway and city. Seems a bit premature.

I cant speak on oem/continental tires, but at 9000 miles .... my Ventus V2 Concept 2 H457 tires are still at 8/32nd fronts, and 9/32nd rears .... no rotations as of yet

15k miles and near wear bar does seem a little premature for an oem all-season nothing special tire..

If you can get to 25K miles, that's pretty good for an oem tire, i think. the nothing special all-season dunlops my GK came with is due for change after next warm season too at about 23-25K miles on the tires. I swap to snows in the winter so appears I can get more miles.

Installed 16" alloys with my '15 LX and Kumho Ecsta's rotated every oil change. They barely lasted 15k.

Replaced with Michelin Premiers so hope these last much longer. At least the ride and grip are much improved.

Tire wear has a lot to do with the way you drive. You probably know that high speed, city driving, and excessive load on the car will cause tires to wear out faster. My OEM firestones look like they will get 40K miles. So far at 28K miles on ODO. My policy is to rotate them every 10K miles. I am a single person in the car, avoid driving in traffic, and usually keep the Fit under 65 on the freeways.

I've got about 36k on ours so far, tread still looks like new, even wear, no rotation just yet...

Sidewalls are crazy dry-rotting however, so I'll likely change them out before next summer for peace of mind. I know it's a cheap car... but come oooonnnn Honda, don't senatence us to death on shit tires!

You're lucky your Fit had Continental Tires. My 2015 came with the crappy Firestones.

Same here, 2018 came with Firestones. They are mediocre at best. Only 6k on mine, look like I might get 25k out of them, will see.

One of mine had two sidewall bubbles. Had that replaced with a Sumitomo tires. I'm still running on the other three.

my 2019 lx came with conti's , but i switched to BF goodrich advantage t/a's , they are grippier and much better in the wet , my only regret is that i didn't go a size bigger to the 195 55's
it was my first choice but i let a salesman at tire rack talk me out of it . it'll definitely be my next tire but the 185's look like they'll last a while , it's a very tough tire , highly recommended
