My visit to FEEL’S Japan

What up people?!

Last summer I took the trip of a lifetime. I went to Japan for just under a month and of course I made it a point to visit some shops and unfortunately only one track.

I thought I’d share some pics of the FEEL’S GK. I went looking for steel braided brake lines and some other goodies for my gd, to no avail. They were like, “yeeeeaah, we haven’t made those for a minute kid..”

Anywhooo, enjoy!!

edit: Will post more reasonably sized pics in the future, my bad.

Wow, that K series sits very low it looks!

Those wide fenders + flares. Wonder how they look without the flares?

Awesome stuff. USDM GK5s really need more aftermarket support.

Gonna try and upload a video, but it's pretty big so I may have to get crafty. Stay tuned!

Very little from the guys at the shop, but they were super cool. Ichi san at Type 1 basically spoke English the whole time. FEEL'S were extremely patient w/ us as I bought a T-shirt and some decals. There's a fair amount of English in the bigger cities, but not out in the boonies lol! We took a road trip and that's when I realized the language barrier was real . We prepared quite a bit though, all the basics went a long way.

Nice! Yes, up garage is nuts. Went to 2 different ones, wheels galore and if you’re lucky, seats. I saw lots of te’s in great shape for sale in so, so many sizes and pairs of basically brand new bride sets at about $1,500 usd per set. Crazy savings. The entire inventory rotates, so not sure what you’ll find, good luck!!

Not sure what you’re looking for, but I wish I had more of a plan (moneynlol). It really is pure chance that you’ll find exactly what you’re lookin for and when you do it’s definitely jdm so knowing what fab you’ll need to do ahead of time would help. I would encourage you to make a list w/ plenty of back ups and take your time looking. youll literally find a bin full of turbos and exhaust hanging from racks. Enjoy!!

Video walk around of the FD2. Video quality didn't exactly translate as well as I hoped, but I'll learn. Stay tuned for GK5 walk around!
