P219A Code - wont go away!

Hi all,

I have a 2015 Fit Lx with 65k miles. Started getting check engine light around 55k miles. Got P219A code and ignored it because my performance and MPG was normal 35-40mpg. Needed to get an inspection and was busy so dropped it off at the mechanic (mistake!) was charged $600 - he did a valve adjustment, replaced ignition coils, inspected it. Code came back after 20-30 miles.

This weekend I took it apart myself and cleaned the fuel injectors and checked their resistance with a multimeter, they were all reading the same. Code was gone for 70 or so miles then came back this morning. What am I missing? Could it be an O2 sensor? I've googled, reddited, and searched this forum and I'm at a loss. Cant afford another mechanic bill like that. Would be appreciative for any insight and input !!!

thank you for that - I had read it previously but was wondering if there were other ideas since I think my injectors are in good condition.

My 2015 had the injectors and some part of the fuel line replaced under warranty at 16k miles... due to that pesky check engine light. I did not have fuel economy issues before or after the replacement. Everything was good all the way up to 81k miles ... when I traded the car in.
