Any updates on the Fit Entertainment system?

I've had the '15 EX for a while now and never got around to playing with Mirror Link. Just played with it today and I hate it.... I would love to be able to use Google Maps

Are there any software updates to use Carplay or Android Auto?

Nope.

I too wanted those things a few months ago when I was shopping for a new fit. But I am over it.
After fiddling with the Android Auto, I noticed something that put me off from wanting to use it. Once Android auto app is launched, connected to Bluetooth and usb... android auto is then mirrored onto the head unit.... right?
But what if I needed to use Gas Buddy app during the trip? This means picking up the phone, unlocking it, killing android auto because it does not go to background with grace; just to use my phone with regular apps. Then have to launch AA all again to get it back running.

I am happy with my phone mount. Google maps will go into background gracefully if i need to do other things with the phone.

Damn... that's an entire post of disappointment haha. I have a car mount too, just sucks because we've got this nice big touchscreen to use, but can't. Just seems wasteful.

Don't get me wrong, I would still love to have Android Auto just to have it. Maybe use it a few times in the year. Maybe show it off to friends.
Just when I had a rental that had Android Auto, I just found myself getting aggravated at my phone, when I wanted to do something outside of android auto while driving/at a stop. You'll have to be prepared to commit the phone being 100% married to the HU during your trip, or you're going to have a bad time.

No honda isn't cool like Hyundai, Kia, and Mazda.
They prefer advertising the fit would get AA and CarPlay and then bait and switching you after, and remove all evidence.

Mainly just game arcade; something cool to show friends. Never know when you might be waiting in thr car forever. 16 bit low resolution games on 7in screen; dah best lol.

Any update/news?

For whatever limited functions it provides, Honda just managed to BREAK it AGAIN with the new update of HondaLink aha app v3.2 over the weekend. When the new version of this damn app is running, you can't get back to the app launcher any more. Now when you try to get to the launcher from aha by clicking HOME > Right double arrow for the app launcher (to switch to another app like IheartRadio or Navigation), it throws an error and the whole damn thing FREEZES! v3.1.1 was working fine and they had to BREAK IT. IDIOTS!

If anybody has the v3.1.1 IPA of HondaLink aha app, please let me know. Thanks!

From what I understand, it's not quite mirrorlink (implies supporting controlling from the big touchscreen). It's just HDMI screen mirror and not even when the car is in motion. You have to perform a bunch of steps to enable it in motion. COMPLETELY USELESS!

It is disappointed to not have the full functionality I would have expected but I still like the system with the two cameras. I think the mirroring would be ok to go through those steps on a longer trip for a movie.
