Canadian 2017 Fits
There's a new SE trim slotted between the LX and EX, which borrows the following from the EX:
- 16" alloys
- 6 speakers
- Leather wrapped steering wheel
- Chrome garnish
- Looks like the seat fabric from the EX
but:
- No Lanewatch
- No sunroof
- No fog lights
Also no more 6MT on the EX and up.

Interesting. It looks like the SE has the 7" touch screen radio of the EX and not the 5" LX radio. The SE is 10kg heavier than the LX and 20kg lighter than the EX. Is this 10kg/22lb of extra trim, because that is a lot of trim.
I wonder why Canada has the DX, LX, SE, EX, EX-leather Navi, 2 more model offerings than the US, who has 10 times the population?
And only offered in CVT. Pity. For all the fancy pants doodads I still won't give up my 6MT.
HEY! Check out the new accessories:
ash tray/cop holder $46.50CAD
fog lights: $711.50CAD

Apparently not, For 2017, like 2016 only the EX-L Navi has automatic climate control. https://www.honda.ca/fit/specs

Hatchbacks like the Fit are much more popular in Canada than in the States. For whatever reasons hatchbacks have always been looked down on in the US and manufacturers who sell hatchbacks in Europe and other parts of the world will not introduce them to the US. That has always been frustrating for Canada since a hatchback which might sell well here will never be introduced because it won't sell in the US and since the Canada/US market is looked upon as unified, a car model not popular in the US simply won't be sold in Canada either.
It is rather surprising therefore to see the efforts Honda is making with the fit to make such a variety of configurations/models available in Canada but perhaps not so surprising considering, being a hatchback, the Fit has greater (per capita) potential in Canada than the US.
