When those rear clips on the pan under the engine broke/failed, I bought half a dozen more. After doing an oil change, I installed a new one to replace one that was missing. I immediately tried to remove it, but I had the same problem as before. The screw kept turning, but it would not back out. This is the problem I had in the past, and I had to pry it out, damaging it in the process. I'll have to find a solution for this.
My LaneWatch is still failing occasionally, 27 times in two years. Honda is worthless for a repair.
When you're parked in a city environment at night, your dash instruments will light up as soon as you start the car. Unlike cars without DRL, a dark dash does not remind you to turn on your headlights. With all the street lights, store lights, and traffic, I didn't notice that my headlights weren't turned on till I had driven a mile, or so.
Autumn is a beautiful time of year. The leaves are turning colors and falling, and the weather is warm. Just remember to close your moon/sunroof when you leave the car parked near trees. I had a bit of cleaning out to do.

I find it amazing, yet horrifying how well a Fit preserves a fart.
One time a dude with me broke off a nasty food ghost right as we were getting out to go in to the store. It was SBD and I didn't notice; I should have, though, because he got really quiet and he was sort of giggling to himself. I guess he timed it perfectly and I didn't notice.
When we got back to the car, it was over two hours later. I opened the my door first because I locked it, and when I did, I released the Kraken.
Dude bursts out laughing.

Sometimes I leave them on Auto, but then they turn in the garage, tunnels, shady roads, etc., and they stay lit for a couple of minutes after I shut the engine off. Maybe I'll leave them on Auto anyway.

They stay on for 10 seconds after shutting the engine off unless you're holding the driver's door open.

When ever i drive my dad's car, i prob drive for about 10 min with the lights off, waiting for them to turn on lol

It was raining yesterday, and with the headlights on Auto, it took longer than I wanted for the headlights to come on with the wipers working - the law in New York. If a cop had been coming toward me, that could have been a situation.

I sat in the car for a minute yesterday before getting out, and the lights were still on. Is there an adjustment for the length of time?
#11
If you had opened the door and got out, it would be shorter. The car was waiting for you.

You need to use a small flat head to put outward pressure on it. I think it needs to pop out slightly before screwing out. Use very little downward pressure while twisting the phillips and put constant upward pressure with the flat head.

I consider this a safety feature.

Right, except I don't notice the dimming until I turn on the headlights. it is a good feature, though.

The error is not you but the car. So far there is no fix.

This is a usability error very common for a lot of manufacturers. There is no feedback when it is dark but you have yet to turn on your headlights. When dark, if you could not see your dash you would have feedback to tell you that something is amiss, then you'd turn on your headlights. When the dash it already lit you'll likely assume everything is as usual, a common human action, and carry on without headlights.
