Alarm question
Hi all. I'm almost ready to buy a 2016 LX CVT model. The dealership quote me a Karr alarm for 600dlls (dual stage sock sensors, not sure what this mean). Is it worth it? Have anyone here has it installed? I read that is preinstalled in the Fit, If I decide not to get it, does the dealer removes it? Thanks for your help!

What are you talking about? What is a CTC? You are on a Honda Fit forum. The 2015/2016 Fit already comes with an auto immobilizer system that stops the car dead if you do not have a computer coded key. There is absolutely no need for yet another anti-theft device.
Keep your $600 dillpickles.

Dual stage shock sensors - gentle taps to car can set off one type of alarm, and a harder tap can set off a more intense alarm.
Would be nice to have that, battery back up, plus hood sensor, tilt sensor and glass breakage microphone to add to immobilizer for a more complete alarm system.
Immobilizer is useless if car gets towed and thieves can spend more time to tear apart car.

It's definitely not preinstalled on the Fit, absolutely not. It's 100% installed by the dealer. Dealers do different things: some add $600 pin stripes, some add a $600 paint and fabric protection package, some add a $600 accessories package (cargo matt, cargo shelf, etc.). It's all just a ploy to pad the sale.
