Tire size recommendation for 15x6.5

I was thinking of getting a set of Enkei RPF1 Type II Wheels 15X6.5 / 4X100 / ET35

What tire size and brand would be recommended?
I am primarily concerned with increasing ride comfort, acceleration and reducing road noise.

I know a lighter wheel and taller side wall should help out with this but I don't know where to go from there since I am fairly new to all of this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am pretty set on getting these rims. I just need to know what size tire will fit. I want to keep the diameter as close to OEM as I can so the speedometer will read correctly.

Will 175x65x15 size tires fit on this rim?

You can answer your own question by plugging the proposed sizes into a Tire Size Calculator:

Stock tire on a LX is a 185/60R15. The LX has a narrower 5.5" rim so you might want to go to a 195/60R15 on your new rims to protect the edges a bit better. The 195 size would be about 2% larger in diameter which would actually make a Fit speedometer just about dead accurate, since the stock speedo reads about 2% high.

I've been running Goodyear assurance FuelMax tires on my cars for several years and find them to be excellent. Good economy, long wear, and smooth ride. They are _not_ for Ricky Racer types, though!

Does any one know what off set will be better? This rim comes in 35 and 41.

Stock is 53, so the 41 would likely be the best of the two. You might have some clearance issues so check before you buy.
