Anyone else have clutch issue like this?

Past couple days... on the 1st to 2nd shift.. feels like the clutch isn't disengaging... can feel resistance while moving lever, then you can feel the release when the gear is disengaged.

Doesn't do every shift.

To keep it from happening.. two things work so far.. have clutch fully on floor let engine drop at least 1000 rpm before moving lever.. or pump clutch peddle hard half dozen times before taking off in first..

Acting like it needs to be bled. Anyone else experience this?

You're talking about the linkage to second being notchy? Or some kind of resistance going into second? I don't have trouble with the linkage but sometimes I overrev when going into second gear. Originally I thought it was because I was letting out the clutch too late but sometimes it seems like it just doesn't grab right away. It happened more when the car was newer and I'm not 100% sure it isn't just me. I've had MTs since 1978 (Ford Pinto!) but for some reason I had trouble getting used to the Fit at first, never had that happen before. Maybe because I moved from a GTI with all power to Fit with no power, can't really point to anything else.

ADDENDUM: Clutch lets out way at the top too.

maybe you have a bad master or slave (or both) cylinder.

I have occasional issues shifting into 2nd - usually from neutral and sometimes from 1st. Double clutching takes care of it. i forgot to mention the problem at my 1st service. I will inform the dealer at the next.

I think the Fit has a weird clutch, still getting used to it. My Civic clutch was a lot better.

I would try a bleed first.

My previous car, the 2012 civic had a much better MT tranny than this pesky 6 speed. Sometimes I dump it in 2nd and I think it went through, but it only went half way through ... then .... GRIND. Makes my heart cringe.

Had an experience similar with my rs. Clutch was engaging right off the floor. Turns out the clutch slave had a leak, changed that and its as good as new

I had a good bit of notchy-ness between 1st and 2nd when I got the Fit. One of my first upgrades was a different shift knob. The stock knob is a ridiculously lightweight little piece of junk. I switched to one that weighs nearly a pound and the extra weight smoothed that notchy-ness right out. Night and Day difference as soon as it was installed and I've been shifting smoothly since. I got a Blox brand.

First gear is particularly weird also. Sometimes if I'm rolling to a stop with the clutch disengaged and I just move the lever to 1st, I can feel/hear the lever sort of engage in 1st even when the clutch is still on the floor. I haven't really had a problem, more just noticed the change in sound.
