VIN Number 12th digit meaning?

VIN Number 12th digit meaning?
my 2015 Fit's last 6 digits (12-17) is 729607.
12th number is 7. What is its meaning?
found my answer on this forum using a search argument containing "number". if I used "vin" it found nothing. must use 4+ chars in search.
"7" designates the country (USA) of where car is being shipped to. "8" I believe means Canada. 29,607 is the actual production serial number of my Fit.
