2015 Fit DX, Canada Version: Radio Volume button or LCD slider?

Hi All and thanks for posting so much great info on the Fit. I've been lurking for about 1 month, soaking up the knowledge.

We are thinking about either the 2015 or 2016 Fit DX 6MT, Canadian version. The dealers we've visited only have test models of the EX-L version, so I actually have not seen the 5" LCD screen nor steering wheel for the base DX model. The 2015 Fit brochure also has no photos of the 5" display nor the DX steering wheel.

Could someone with a Canadian DX please post up photos of the 5" radio/LCD screen, as well as the steering wheel? I could not find DX photos on Google Search. I'd like to know if the DX radio has an actual volume knob, rather than the slider, and if a secondary volume control is on the steering wheel. The DX is bare bones and may not have volume controls on the steering wheel. There are hints in a couple of web sites that the DX has a volume knob.

Thanks all

So I just figured out the answer to my own question. There are few Canadian DX buyers on this forum. The Canadian DX has a 5" non-touch screen, which happens to be exactly the same as the US LX 5" non-touch screen.

There's a
video on Youtube that goes through the radio in pretty good detail.

The Canadian LX and EX have the 7" touch screen. source

The Display Audio touchscreen interface, standard on LX and above,

You were curious about the bare bones steering wheel. The audio system is the same as in the LX, except for the retarded software (i.e. less features). I would say get the 2016 DX if possible or get the 2015 with a cash discount. There's a coil plug recall on the 2015's.

Thanks Commander Slug. I'm waiting for a 2016 DX, whenever they get here. I'm not in a rush. There are no more 2015 DX/LX left in Ontario my local dealer says, so no opportunity for a cash deal. The $2,800 bump to the LX is too rich for me. I wanted cruise but not the 7" touch radio.

I was hoping that Honda would put the radio source, volume controls, forward, back controls on the steering wheel's left side, like the US LX, but see that they did not.
