Unfortunately car is delayed at the Dealership getting warranty repair work done to the tranny. Was suppose to get the car back this past Tues, but the tech working on my car apparently took vacation the past few days.. FML... just bought my used '15 EX Silver 6MT less than a month ago..
New Wider Much Better Tires for FIT: BF Goodrich g-Force COMP 2 A/S
Dramatically improved the handling, cornering, dry and wet grip, smoothness, less braking distance, and stability of my 2015 FIT EX by replacing the awful stock Firestone 185/55 R16 with Top Rated 205/50 R16 BF Goodrich G-Force COMP 2 A/S (All Season).
FIT is a lot of fun to drive now.
These BF tires will give you a approximately 1 inch more of surface contact at each wheel. (1/2 inch on either side of the rim.) The rotation/spin is almost exactly the same as the Firestone so no change to the speedometer. No modification needed--they fit with no rub or problems.
Just a significant change for the better for FIT.
(I dumped the Firestones with just 26K miles and 2 years of driving on them due to poor handling and wet traction.)
You will lose a couple of MPG's in the city, stop and go, as the BF Goodrich is a slightly heavier tire.
I got 4 new ones shipped to me for just $340.00.
I also love the look of them on the car.
Best of all: They have a thick RIM Guard so you don't scratch your nice FIT wheels parallel parking. (As I have unfortunately already done.)
BF GOODRICH: MADE IN THE USA!
Transporting the New BF Goodrich Tires from my place to Install. Measured approx. 8 inches of contact surface. 205/50 R16 fits FIT EX wheels. RIM Guard!

I've heard of them chewing up wiring harnesses - $$$.
Yes! And there's no defense against them. I saw chewed up acorns in the engine compartment, and I caught a mouse in a trap. Never leave food in the car.
..and of course rain is predicted for the next 5 days....
Are those front feet on there right? Looks like they're not sitting in the channel correctly. Just asking because it would suck if they damaged the roof.

Yeah, they're fine. The issue is the slope of the roof. I triple checked by trying to move the rack and it wouldn't budge. The feet are making enough contact for me to trust. That being said, I think I'll slide the whole thing back a few more inches to see if I can get more contact before I put my bike up.

Well, that's something different. How did you do it?
Not OP but I had my front license plate bracket off today to install covers and bolts on the bottom. They are self tapping screws that chew into the bumper and the louvers underneath. I really like the look but I know my province gets excited when they see a vehicle that has a plate in a different location.
Is that the one for cvt or manual? I read it is hard to install due to the heat shield.
It'll work for both. Mine is manual, so it's easier to get on. There is a small clearance issue with one of the lines in there, but the shield attaches to the filter directly, so you just have to rotate it a little bit. I know it'll probably be closer to the transmission casing on the cvt.
I also kept the original snorkel on there to get some cooler air into that part of the bay, might make a slightly longer one or make an air feed from the bottom as well.
