Placed an order for my GK5... acceptance comfirmation should be sometime today to Friday. Hopefully my configuration will be something that we could get in our zone, if not will have to wait till production starts again around the November.
If you do the engine air filter, I'm sure someone will find it useful in the future. It's really easy, but pictures definitely help for those unsure of the steps.
The engine air filter is easy. 4 clips lift the air box housing and the filter is right there to be lifted out.
19k, here is my cabin filter. It had leaves, dirt and other debris which I cleaned out before snapping some pics...and I dont park under any trees, cut them all down ha!
The interval should be 15k tops, not 30k as Honda suggests. Cant complain too much, least I didn't find a mice shit and nest in there like I did on my 2011.
I know they aren't in theses pictures but, I saw your youtube videos the other day and I was wondering where you got your fog light "garnish". It looks pretty sweet with the sport grill. Thanks.
Shark fin antenna and red ambient lighting (only when domes are on). Thanks again to tbFit for posting the pics necessary to walk a n00b like me through it. Foxy is really looking more and more like the car I wish Honda would have built.

Looks great! About to do the same thing on mine. Does the weather striping on the sides just held on by clips? did you work around the antenna or remove it?
I followed up on an inexpensive armrest extension provided in 2Rismo2's post, and knew I would not be able to deal with the raging red, or whaling white stitching. So, I purchased some black Rit DyeMore synthetic fabric dye and after two applications, managed to tame the whaling white stitches to a gray range that complements my car interior. Fits OK, feels OK, and the stitches blend in OK.
Rotated my tires yesterday. I bought my Fit in March and I'm at almost 15k. I bought a harbor freight low profile 3 ton floor jack on sale for $80 plus tax. 2 7/8" to 19 3/4" lift range. I figured I'd need the extra height for working on my 4Runner. It had no problems getting under the Fit and lifting it onto jack stands.
...It [floor jack] had no problems getting under the Fit and lifting it onto jack stands.
Could you tell me what points you used with your jack? I'm having some troubles finding safe jacking points. I've been researching and could not find a definitive answer. I have 1 pair of jack stands.
This was the first time jacking the Fit with a floor jack to rotate the tires. I used the factory jacking points near the wheels. You'll notice that they are reinforced in that section. I lifted the front and the jack was able to raise the rear enough to get a jack stand on the rear jack point as well.
As I was underneath, there looks like a jack point in the center near the motor. It looks like a motor mount. I didn't have time to retry using that jack point, but it might be a stretch to get my low profile jack all the way there. I may invest in some ramps. Drive the car onto those, jack up the rear onto stands, then l lift the front onto stands.
Also noticed that Honda dealership left off one of the self tapping screws on the engine cover below the car. That's what I get for using their first oil change free service...

Thanks for the info. I'm looking for where to place the floor jack in the front and rear middle of the car but cannot find a diagram of any sort. Jack up there with the floor jack and then place your jack stands on your axles. Alternately I might go to a local muffler place and ask if they could jack up my car with their lift.
I don't normally need to go underneath the car, but the engine cover is problematic. I don't trust the dealership to properly replace the screws when doing the oil change. If they will screw up the cover, then an oil change at any price is too expensive. I want to zip tie the cover on so I don't lose it, like others have done. A new cover is ~$300. I may also invest in some ramps.
That hurts, I would just use factory touch up paint to fill those.
This was my bonnet damage when the car was just few weeks old. Got it fix by smash repair, pull out the dent and respray the whole bonnet.
Where did you get that headlight assembly and would that fit a US GK?
Took my 2015 Fit to the dealership today for 2 recalls and a 15,000 mile service. Since my drive-out date (August 2014) the entire service operation seems to have really improved, with the same personnel listening more attentively and taking care of business more efficiently. Maybe some of them are tuning into Fitfreak comments for Fitfeedback.

Couldn't bear to spend $100 for a cargo tray that wouldn't protect the seatbacks when they were flat, so I ordered some movers blankets that are black on both sides. Homcom Large Moving Blankets Padded Furniture Pads 72'' x 80'' Pack Black | eBay on ebay. Less than $8 apiece in a six pack. Throw one in the other car and get rid of the old army blanket you had in there. The only thing the cargo tray would do better is contain a spill, but then the cargo tray won't keep you warm if you get stuck in snow.

Great idea pagetuner. I can also see these coming in handy for throwing a cover over the lower hatch area when loading clunkey stuff. I use a cargo tray and blue fiber tarp, but the padded quality of the blankets looks very useful in protecting seat backs and cargo area from all kinds of loading and transport dings.
