What did you do to your GK Fit today?

YES!
I use to hate the shifting to third and second gear because it's hesitant to slot in but now it just goes in easy all the time. It's worth it in my opinion.
I love rev match down shifting i have a acuity pedal spacer with this and it's NIOCE!
Thank you, Acuity!

HKS Exhaust for the “Sport”
Took 3 months and 2 days to arrive but a nice piece. Figment and build quality is top notch.
One oddity is that the stock exhaust has a fair amount of water in it. You can easily hear it slosh around when tipping the exhaust end for end. What’s even weirder is I got a few drops out but cannot get the rest out no matter how you tip and shake the exhaust.
New setup sounds real nice

No sound clips yet. I’ve only driven it around the block since installing it. On a cold start I could tell a small difference in the sound. I was surprised that just driving it around the block in the car with the windows up it sounds almost like it did when stock.
When I pulled in the garage I opened the driver door and blipped the throttle a few times. It actually sounds nice and has a good tone.
Fit and finish are excellent

I have no idea why Honda would change the hanger orientation on the Sport model? Not like it sounds Sporty.

Love it. Looks like its $420 now. I love the look of the carbon fiber tip. I hope HKS can do that for a 2016 LX. Thanks for documenting the process. Really interesting why they'd do that to the sport models when there is little to no difference.

How does the new splitter mount? Does it utilize the stock fasteners etc?
#3313
Yes, the lip did require a bit of mod. I took my drill and made the wholes on each of the lip a bit bigger to fit the stock fasteners but the rest used screws from my old lip and the new one. Luckily I was able to use the same holes from the previous lip so that made it a bit easier.

Checked to see if I remembered the silly pedal/handle/button dance to disable (for the most part) the VSC... was a success without referencing my note As I understand it, or if IIRC, it shuts down all VSC but leaves ABS active... surprising that it’s even possible in this day and age

L15B7 Oil Pump
I bought a L15B7 oil pump today. It does not fit our L15B1. I also bought the upgraded Boundary Engineering Honda civic oil pump gears. I'll see if our gears are the same as the civics. If so, I'll put them in my oil pump for my rebuild. If not, I'll upgrade the pump and sell on civic forum. While looking around on Hondapartsnow.com, I also deduced that the civic injectors on the turbo will fit "into" our head, no idea if they fit into our feed line but they do look the same and the injector set is $400 cheaper at like $3xx... MOAR mods!

Methanol injection kit is in and functioning
Thanks Silver!
BREAK BREAK
FYI I returned the SNO kit which requires a separate controller for NA applications and ordered an AEM kit with an in dash controller that can be signaled on MAF, injector duty cycle, or maybe also coils. I'm going to try to install it before I swap engines so should only have negligible benefit at stock compression on pump gas... the real bennies will come with the higher compression pistons and E85 tune...

How the back looks with methanol tank, relocated battery, and Schroth racing harness
Controller. I Drilled a hole in the empty button behind this to accept the wire loom. Four wires went aft, two for pump, two for low fluid level. I ran the wires back in a plastic tube, the kind that are corrugated and split. The plastic hose comes from the pump forward.
Six inches ahead of throttle body is optimal. I tapped the weapon r intake tube. The maf wire will be hidden soon...
I just found a place where i could get three screws out of 4 for the tank
I had a hole in the firewall already for the amp positive lead which is where i ran the positive and negative battery wires and the maf signal.
The pump and optional filter
Another
Routing under the panels
Drivers front panel
Another of the back
I drove two miles. It used half a tank which should be for a full tank of gas!!! Pulled intake, a lot of the fluid is in there. I need to tune it but I need to make sure I have the dip switches set for the proper maf signal. If anyone knows if our signal is voltage or frequency let me know. I took the reading on pin 3 to be varying voltage 0.6V to 1.8V and my understanding was the frequency signal would have held steady at 2.5V.
