What did you do to your GK Fit today?

I did this with mine a couple years back.
Please note: the Rust-Oleum Plasti-dip stuff DOES NOT hold up well.... I repainted mine with some actual paint this week.
Had to remove my stickers because they started to peel as well 😪
I'm actually upset about that.
I had to replace my wiper motor because I destroyed the post trying to pull the blade arm off (it never did come off), and got one from cheaperhondaparts. It works well, but it's worth noting that it didn't come with a nut for the arm, and the threads didn't match those on the original part.
While I'm here: has anyone figured out a good way to smoke out their tail lights??
Also: any suggestions for good looking aftermarket headlights? My passenger side is taking on water and I can't fix it... At almost $300 each, for OEM, I might as well find something I like the look of...

I used Plastidip to coat the two red pillars of plastic that neither light nor reflect, has held up perfectly for a couple years now, looks great on my black LX...If they actually had a function, I'd've left them alone, but to me, they stick out like a sore useless thumb

I used Plastidip on my CRV's grill and all the chrome parts, it's been on almost a year and it hasn't budged, still looks perfect, through the winter salt, etc. Those useless pillar "reflectors" they call them, I replaced with the LED lights, and I'm completely happy with them, at least they are now functional.

Replaced my OEM battery with a 51R thanks to tips on this site. Particulars:
Factory battery lasted 3.5 years. Not a daily driver. SoCal location.
Purchased Interstate 51R from Costco. $78 after exchange, not including local taxes.
All radio settings remained intact. No other programming necessary.
Battery fit fine in stock tray. Mine is a “made in Japan” so had the longer tray.
Time to swap was about 30 minutes. It took longer to go to/return from Costco.
Thanks to all for the tips.

No, it is carbon texture of handle cover only.

I read (I think it was here) not to put racks on my car because they'll dent it.

We've got at least 3 of us here. I'm in Lowell, and there's a gray fit with pillar lights from MA, too.

I did the same, the day after I took my 16' EX home, no clearance issues, and it starts twice as fast over the OEM 151R that was still in it and still starting strong.
