What did you do to your GK Fit today?

@evilchargerfan BTW I had this same issue, but without any changes to the car, so I wouldn't necessarily attribute it to any of your recent work. I believe that there may be an intermittent issue with the power steering or some related sensors that is causing it to fault on those systems.

Black garnish finally installed
1960 legacy black license plate on its way
Btw to the gentleman who asked about the shocks and springs..
Ive driven about 200 miles on the koni shocks swift combo.
They feel great! Comfortable is the first word that comes to mind. Also, the "floating" feeling is gone now.
Overall I'm happy for now. I needed new shocks and springs anyways. I had 205k on oem ones.
Ill go to coilovers in the future
Another thing, I rub the plastic cover along the fender line on violent dips. None on hard turns yet I ride on 205 50 16...
Didn't forget about tailights. Stay tuned..

I like that you have both KPH and MPH. I had a Buick that would let me switch at the push of a button.

Running lights
This is how the brake lights look for those china tailights
(running lights are also on)
The signal lights are the same as oem and so are the reverse lights (emergency lights were flashing thats why both sides are on) I should have done it at night but you get the idea

Put gorilla lock nuts they stick out about half an inch out more than oem ones so I need to get the matching ones to go with it.. Should have bought the whole set itself that comes with 16 lug nuts and 4 locking lug nuts..
Btw. Anyone recommend size of spacers I can get for the rear tires and wheels? To match with the front

At last
I got my 2018 Fit EX back from the dealer with the HFP kit installed - except for the wheels. I have 15x7 Enkei RPF1 wheels with 195/60-15 Firestone Firehawk AS tires from my previous 2015 EX that I am going to install. These only weigh 29.5 lbs. for the wheel tire combo - considerably lighter than the 36.7 lbs. that the down to the wear bars stock setup weighed. I am going to weigh the 10k mile stockers that will come off the 2018 to get an idea of how much the worn-off tread weighed. I will also weigh the bare HFP wheels. I am also going to install the Cusco rear sway bar from the 2015. I will also install the 10mm spacers on the rear that never made it onto the 2015. I also have a set of camber bolts for the front that will be installed at a later date. The alignment from the dealer after the HFP suspension install is +0.1 degree camber on both sides - I will be aiming for -1.0 degree on the front, which is still within stock specifications.
Haven't put a lot of miles of the new suspension yet, but I love it so far.

Subwoofer
Had powered subwoofer installed yesterday. Alpine PWE-S8 (120W RMS & 8") with AudioControl LC2i sound processor in the right rear corner of the car. Takes up almost no space and can make more bass than I need. I have the remote boost knob at "0" and it still vibrates the rear view mirror at normal listening volumes. Exactly what I wanted - just fill in the lows for the stock head unit. I did have them install 4 gauge power wiring - just in case.
