It is coming off of the passenger side door, I believe it is called the sill-trim. Anyone else having this happen? I am hoping that it is just a clip that wasn't installed right or something.

Dude, never get a white car. Sort of like redheads. Lots of health issues.

Thanks for the input guys. I love my hondas white and will be taking it to the dealer today to see if they have the parts/tools to fix it. I used to have a 2007 xterra and it was "too new" to have replacement parts for the blower motor at the time. That about sums up my experience with Nissan.
I will report back any fix.

What's wrong with redheads? My wife is a redhead with no health issues, except sometimes she goes insane when I buy more presents for my Fit than for her.

I think the "Crazy" crosses the hair color barrier. My wife constantly complains about the options I purchased for my Daughters Fit, and she is a brunette.

Dealer Fixed it
UpDate: They had to order a new trim part and installed it. It looks good but they didnt put adhesive on it so there is still a small hap between the paint and the trim piece. As long as it doesn't leak into the door I am happy. Since this is a new car they didnt have parts on hand.

Yet another quality assurance issue with the Mexican built FIT. It amazes me how people read these kind of posts and yet they still purchase one as if to say "that wont happen to my car i just ordered". When it does, they're all bent out of shape and scared. If people are out there interested in a FIT, i'm not saying don't buy one. Just don't by 15' unless you want to be pummeled with these little issues always taking it back to Honda more than the car sees your driveway...

Well if installed correctly it shouldn't be too loose. If you nudge it and doesn't move then it's ok. If it wiggles then yes they need to fix it.

Just to clarify, the piece is installed by trim clips of some sort but there is a gap between the B-pillar and the trim on the replaced side and there is no gap on the other 3 windows. I don't know for sure but it certainly looks like they used some kind of adhesive at the factory for the part of the trim touching the B-pillar plastic cover.
I should have taken a picture of the original problem but the sill trim had about 1 1/2 '' gap and about 2 '' when i stretched it.
I am expecting a few hiccups here and there but it is under warranty and I work about 2 minutes away from a pretty top-notch honda dealer so I will gladly be the guinea pig.
Unrelated: Just went through a pretty good snowstorm in the Denver metro area and the stock firestone fr740s did really really good.
