Can I flat tow a 2015 Fit LX CVT?
#2
No problem with dolly towing, as the rear wheels just hold the rear end of the car off of the ground.
It's a pity that someone cannot come up with locking hubs for the front axle like are common on 4WD trucks so the motorhome folks can flat-tow the car regardless of transmission. You see a lot of jeeps being towed behind motorhomes and it isn't because they are light or economical. It's because their transfer case can be set into neutral so nothing turns in the transmission.
I can't figure out why nobody uses a T-Trailer like we used with dune buggies. Less complex than a tow dolly, all four wheels off the ground, backs up like a normal trailer, etc.
