The Custom Wallpaper Thread

Welcome to Custom Wallpaper thread! Share your ideas and images here and get creative!

This thread stems from the original BTTF Wallpaper thread:
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/3rd-...me-travel.html

In time I will upload templates that will include the ff:
Template for Traditional Clock
Template for Big Digital
Template for Small Digital

The template will basically include guidelines to the size of the clocks so you can base your design off of that.

Basic EX Audio System info:
1.67 Ratio
5:3
800x480 px

***When you post, it would be great if you can share your image, and upload a picture of how its going to look like in the car

CHEERS!

I highly recommend using imgur.com to upload your pictures. Just drag drop press upload and get the link.

Here is the BTTF wallpaper in my car. I will see if I can come up with some other ideas for future use. I did not even know about the custom wallpaper feature until Miroman86 posted these.

Cool wallpaper. I have an LX and though I can load wallpaper and see the little preview, I can't set it to display on my screen. All I get is a black display with the time in the upper right corner.

Sorry, but I can't give any pointers for the LX versions. It would be great though if somebody comes up and help make ideas for custom LX wallpapers

you have to redownload the picture. you probably downloaded the full res version. You have to download from this page which has been resized. right click the picture and download. that's how i did it and it works on my LX.

Thanks for bringing this up--I don't either. I'll take one on the drive to work this morning.

The biggest downside is that the stalk on the back is actually fairly long. If it were shorter, it would fit in closer.

I'm going to look at shortening that and removing the port cover, and switching it to default on, vs the default off it is now.

I figure I might as well, I have all the time in the world now.

This is pretty cool. All I have is a collage of my grandchildren. Lame old guy stuff, I know.

Great Scott!! How do you set the wallpaper to always be on or to at least default back to the wallpaper after inactivity? Is this even possible?

Just go to the Main Menu > Info > then either select your Trip Info or Clock/Wallpaper
