Bumper Upgrade
About a month and a half ago I read in the New York Times that Honda had modified the bumper on 2015 Fits starting in June, and that they would retro-fit Fits made before that. The reason: they wanted a better insurance institute rating. How refreshing! I was nearly a lifelong GM owner, and became disgruntled by their handling of the deadly ignition system recall. My wife had a 2005 Cobalt AND WE JUST GOT THE RECALL NOTICE! Honda, being proactive, is changing my bumper next Monday BEFORE SOMEONE IS KILLED! Love it! Buying the Fit was a drastic change in size and brand, and so far I am happy having done it!
