When at "L" mode, do you double tab at very beginning to get past 4000 RPM, or you have to double tab when near 4000RPM?

Myxalplyx, my guess is you can get 15.8sec 1/4 on the strip! See if you get the chance to do a run in "L" mode without the double tapping technique.

jjcentral, glad that you found this thread, I posted the inquiry in your part 4 youtube video, but no replied there. I hope you can give this a try as well, as your LX is stock.

Edit: based on jjcentral's latest youtube reply, it seems "L" mode don't work well without double tapping.

I have yet to post in non-'L' gear , mode. I have only been doing the Myxalp Two-step. Sorry!

I floor it, the car rpms jump to about 2200rpm. Then I tap at 3k, 4k and 5k. If I'm greedy, I'll tap at 6k as well and hope it'll spike to 6400rpm. I try to do it by sound and feel but I only know I've been tapping it at these intervals from seeing the videos. Too difficult to do this while looking at the gauge and driving.

In other words, if the rpm is not maxed out after a tap, tap again. Just allow a tiny pause in between the taps. Too quickly and it seems like there is a delay of sorts. Hard to explain.
