It's growing on me and looks better the more I see it. Thanks for the good pictures, now get some sunlight pictures.

It looks like the photos are taken in a "vivid colors" setting, making everything appear a lot brighter and more saturated. Look at the blue wall behind, bright green plants.

The real yellow is probably a lot more pale than this.

Agreed that all colors look different inside and outside. While I haven't had a chance to take some pics outside, I can tell that it does a lot of metallic flakes in the paint. More than I expected.

But you do need to see a color in person to really appreciate.

From previous pics I was not a fan, but seeing it in person has changed my mind.

Awesome - I'm getting out a little early today; I'll swing over and check it out. Will post my thoughts afterwards; I do agree that it looks a bit jacked up compared to what I was thinking it would look like.

Cool. See you in bit. Just ask for Jorge or the Honda Geek at the front desk.

I need to see this in person to give my final opinion but this looks too mustard yellow for my taste

I liked the stock photos of the car since it looked like a more pale yellow but this looks way different

I used to have an Ultra Yellow 350z and would constantly see bees and other insects jumping on the car thinking it was a big flower

I'm looking at it right now on an overcast day here. It really looks not too much like any of the pics. It's definitely not a screaming yellow, nor is it a greeny yellow either. I like it, but you really need to see it in person.

I must've just missed you. I had a hell of a day trying to get to it (My BMW 740 broke down on the way to that dealership), was already awake for 30hrs, etc.

Either way, 'The Misfit' is home now. Nice meeting you HondaGeek. It was a LONG drive back home to Delaware (3hrs). Just glad I made it back safely. Slept two hours and back to work again for 12hrs.

Congratulations. I love that you made it happen given how much you wanted it! Best of luck with it.

Oh, you must be young to keep those hours!

Congrats again on the new Fit!!

I know you had a long drive home, but just look at it as some private time between you and the new ride. Awesome car.

All the best to you!!!

The LX wheels are awful looking. Yuck. Cool color though. Why the heck doesn't Honda put some kind of lime green in the lineup too. I know my daughter would love one!

I've had the same LX in MYP for a month now. I get 43 MPG at 65MPH on 70F roads, around 37 MPG at 65MPH on 20F degree roads. Next week I'll install 1st the MYP door edge guards, then MYP body side moldings.

Are you installing side moldings yourself? Is it an involved process? Where did you purchase? price? On a budget this time of year but would like to consider installing on mine. thx

Installing the side moldings are pretty easy as it comes with a template to get it aligned perfectly.

Just word of caution, the sticky tape is very strong so once it sticks to the car it's not coming off.

Talking Side protection

Oh excellent! Thanks for the info.
I thought there might be drilling involved.
Think I could do it.
Got a very minor scrape along the area where the protector
would go so would be nice to cover it up.

The cheapest prices for Honda accessories I found was on the hondapartsnetwork.com in Lisle IL. Instruction PDFs are on their website and says the door edge guards have to be installed before the moldings. The Honda moldings are glued to lower part of the door and may not be in the best position to protect against dings in the parking lot. An eBay seller has painted moldings that appear to be more centered on the door.
