All season floor mats or carpet floor mats? What's your choice?

Just picked up my mats yesterday; I paid "dealer cost" for them (about $150). I really like them -- I told my wife they looked kind of like our leather seats, so we'll just call them our "leather floor mats". The mats in our old Fit basically wore out, so I'm glad to have some that are more durable and easier to clean. And they look good!

HondaPartsNetork.com lists them at 10.77lbs a piece.

I had the carpet mats in my Fit for a while but they get dirty too easily. And in the winter the salt gets in them and changes their color. The all seasons are much easier to clean, no vacuuming, and stay looking newer longer.
I changed over to some rubber Honda mats I found in advance auto parts. Waay cheaper than the OEM Honda mats and they serve the same purpose.

Definitely all season for me. I like the look of carpet ones when they're clean, but I have a gravel driveway and we're always tracking stuff in so they never stay clean. The all season ones are so much easier to clean and they keep most of the crud off the floor. I took the ones out of my truck last weekend and just dumped the dust and dirt out and then hosed them off. Sprayed a little simple green on the spots showing dirt and brushed them a little bit and they look like new again, even through they're 4 years old.

2015 Honda Fit mats on Amazon for $101.20, plus $17.50 shipping. Don't know if it's free shipping on Prime, but seeing as it's coming from "Keenan Honda", probably not. Cheaper than what I paid. And while they aren't that heavy, they seem sturdy enough.

I guess that could be about right but I don't think that they weigh that much. They seemed pretty light to me

I will decide this winter, but we've been doing just fine with carpeted mats in our other vehicle. Don't get especially messy, just some snow that I tap off my shoes using the side of the car as I'm getting in. I prefer the look of the carpeted ones. And if you're buying a model that comes with them already, the price is right!!
Just make sure you have some type of mat!! Mats can be replaced cheaply, original carpeting can't.

I got the all season floor mats and the cargo liner both from Bernardi Honda. I like the mats as they will not wear out nearly as quick as the carpeted floor mats. When I took out the random pieces of material for the cargo liner I thought maybe I made a mistake because it was kind of thin and it was not obvious how they went on. After downloading the instructions though I put them in and thought they looked good and think they definitely give some protection to the trunk area floor. The bare trunk floor has some weird cheap wooly material that when you vacuum it the fibers all start coming up right away. It needs to be protected. Bernardi's online is cheaper than buying from your local dealer.
