Floor Liner Mats

Floor Liner Mats
My 2015 EX came with the carpeted floor mats but I want to eventually replace them with a rubber or plastic floor liner: something like what is sold by Weather Tech or Husky Liner. In my previous car (a Subaru), I had the factory all weather mats but they didn't hold up well.
It doesn't look like the after market companies have caught up yet. Has anyone used a Weather Tech or a Husky Liner mat in the past (on any vehicle)? Can anyone recommend one over the other? Is there another brand of floor liner anyone can recommend?
Thanks folks.

That's good to know. I have had Weathertechs in my Toyota Tacoma for 4 years now and I love them. I sent them an e-mail over the weekend asking when they might have them for the 2015 Fit. Hopefully it won't take them too long to get them ready.

I called WT this morning, nothing in production yet. I have WT in all my vehicles.
I will order a set when they are available. I did register on there website.

Here's the response I received this morning from the e-mail I sent yesterday.
"Thank you for contacting WeatherTech. Currently the liners for the 2015 Honda fit are still in production. We have an estimated completion time of 8-10 weeks. I recommend filling out a product request form. Once the liners become available we will email you to let you know."

Your right..doubtful...Weathertec surely goes through this with all new model releases.

Any pics of the OEM mats? It would be nice to see how they fit.
Thanks!

I bought the oem rubber mats to use temporarily.
In my last car, I had the Weathertech digital fit mats, but in the heat, they shrank and warped out of shape which annoyed me. I ended up switching to the Weathertech heavy duty rubber mats which were much better.
This time around, I will get the Husky liners as they wrap around the interior, but are a grippy rubber. I didn't like how my Weathertech digital fit ones were slippery, especially when wet.

Weather tech usually uses oem hooks to secure the mat as well as being form fitting. I remember when the ge8 came out, they were not fitting flush, customer service advised to use a blow dryer to heat and reshape the edge. Husky had better dead pedal coverage and uses many pokey spikes to secure. WT does usually look better while husky seems to clean a little easier. That maybe of course that husky is newer, and less stained.

In looking at earlier threads in the 2nd gen forum I saw some photos of the Aries/3D mats that I thought looked really good. I actually like the way they look better than the weathertech that I have in my truck. Aries Floor Liners/Mats
I've sent an e-mail asking when they will be available for the 2015 Fit, but haven't received a response yet. Has anybody else looked at these?

[QUOTE=JediPat;1248697]I just have this one on hand.
Thanks JediPat....I may consider these over the WT's! It appears the have a decent lip that would keep moisture and dirt from running onto the carpet. FIT logo is a plus!

Based on a previous post in this same thread, Weathertech looks to be available around 9/15 (8-10 weeks from the 7/7/2014 post). Very interested in this too, although I gotta say the OEM mats don't look too bad. Still not available on the Weathertech website, and I also added my name to the list (via telephone, and received an email back).
I bought the OEM cargo liner (actually two - when I fold the rear seats down, I use the second one flipped backwards to cover the backside of the rear seats) and am quite impressed. I've been very impressed with them.
