My Passion Berry Pearl arrived today! It's the EX-L w/Navi. I love the color, and I think that it really is one that you have to see in person to decide whether or not you like it. I still think it's more of a blackish purple, more violet than I got from the CR-Z I saw. It looks different depending on the lighting.

If I can figure out how to upload a picture, I will.

Interesting... Neither of the Fits posted here are the kind of purple I prefer. But the Cr-Zs I looked at on cars.com seemed much more appealing.

I guess I really do have to see this color in person to decide how well I like it...

I got sick of waiting and wondering when a purple would be available so I got a black today!! I have to say this thread and all of the pics helped me to admit that I wasn't totally sure If I would love it as much as I initially thought and I would have hated to have it arrive and not like it.

Went to look at what my dealer had, which was black and silver and LOVED the black. I know it is hot but I'm going to get tint and a sunshade and rock it out!

Just came home from work and found a black EX sitting at the end of my block. I don't know if one of the neighbors got a new car or if someone is visiting. Looks nice!

Thank you, Blade Shunner! I've had it a week now, and enjoy it more and more every day. I really need to take some more pictures in different light to show the variations of the color.

Have you found a PBP to see in person yet? My second choice would have been Crystal Black Pearl, so I agree with you that those look nice, too!

No, I still haven't seen one in person yet. I think that is going to be the thing that helps me most. The color seems to look different in every photo I see.

I know I like the black, and the blue looks good to me, too. But if it is a shade of purple that I like...

Local dealer in Anchorage shows having a PBP EX CVT and PBP EX-L CVT.

I haven't gotten a call yet, but I'll probably wander that way after work just so I can at least see one in person and maybe test drive the CVT. (I'm a manual trans person by heart but husband really wants to see me get something with Leather.)

FWIW, I talked to my salesman yesterday when I went in to get the plates. He says there are shipping delays and part of it is due to competition for port access. He said something about oil companies paying higher prices for their dock space or unloading/loading (I have no idea how things work at ports) and the oil companies are basically outbidding Honda (and other companies, I imagine) for port access by a huge amount, so there is some reason for delay.
He said that there are quite a few deposits down for '15 Fits that the potential owners are waiting on. Which explains why I haven't seen too many of the new ones out and about.

new Passion Berry Pearl EX-L with pix

So my dealer here in Michigan ended up going down past Columbus, OH to find this one - got the tint and rear bumper applique done yesterday, picked it up today. I agree that the color changes in the light - from far away, it looks rather black, and the closer you get the more purple It's also much more reflective than my former Milano Red 2009, I was having trouble taking photos without you having to see me in them!

Anyway, hope you enjoy the pix - it was sort of hazy sunny today, and I didn't touch up the photos at all...

Here's a close-up of the color by looking down with the driver's door open:

We also have the Passion Berry Pearl EX. It is my daughters favorite color, so we searched and searched until we just happened to luck up on one that had just arrived that day. We drove 2 hours that evening to purchase it. They don't stay on the lot long!!

FROGSTER, I would be interested in knowing what percentage tint you selected and what brand? Did you go with a metal tint, or a ceramic? I also noticed you only tinted the back windows, Either that or you used a much lighter tint on the drivers windows.

We were going to purchase the cargo cover, but I am thinking the Tint will do the same thing (providing privacy for belongings in the back), while at the same time cutting down on the heat factor.
