JediPat's 2015 Fit EX-L

Info

This is my anti-build thread. This car will be unmolested for the next 7 years / 100k miles, get used to it now. The Fit EX-L is top of the line, only option I passed on was navigation. I will have many adventures in this car, buy many useful OEM accessories, and put many miles on it. I plan on keeping IMMACULATE records on every bit of maintenance, upgrades, etc...I have control over everything that happens to this car. Also, this is my first brand new car, I signed papers with 19 miles on it 9 of which I put on during the test drive. It was delivered to Tom Scott Honda on 6/12/14, went through PDI and detail, it was on the lot for 45 minutes when I showed up and started our lives together. At the time of purchase I was the FIRST and ONLY person in Idaho to own a 2015 Fit, pretty cool in my opinion.

Car Features

2015 Honda Fit EX-L
Alabaster Silver Metallic with Black Interior
1.5L DOHC iVTEC Earth Dreams Engine
Continuously Variable Transmission with Sport and Eco Mode (And for some reason paddle shifters.)
Leather Seats, Steering Wheel, and Shifter
Heated Seats and Mirrors
Backup Camera and Passenger Side Blind Spot Camera
7" Touch Screen with Bluetooth
Power Windows and Sunroof
16" Alloy Wheels
Fog Lights

Upgrades

OEM All Season Floor Mats

What's cool is you got an EX-L. Literally nothing to get since I see the rubber mats included. You won't need nav with your phone. (if its not an i-phone, the Andriod will eventually be able to supply the GPS)

Great pics!!! Now its time to enjoy. CONGRATS!!!

Thanks for the kind words all. I own/operate an Idaho based Honda enthusiast forum so this was super cool to be able to be the first in our state with one and blast it all over our forum.

I actually went up to the dealership today, showed them the online price of those mats from bernardi and they price matched them for me. I just need to clean the fabric ones that came with it and swap them...I wish they included those. Also a little fyi, seems the rubber mats and cargo mats are in stock but the cargo covers are on backorder. As soon as my Note 3 is compatible I will be putting that HDMI outlet to use too.

Sweet ! We seen a Modern Steel LX with C.V.T. here in New York . Had a SOLD sticker hanging from the rear view mirror . Like the exterior and interior better . She prefers the 2nd generation better . Looks to have plenty of leg room for the rear seat . Like the seat material better . Enjoy .

I am 6'6", 350lbs...with my seat all the way back and leaned to perfection my wife can sit behind me with no issues and plenty of leg room. Its awesomely roomy for a subcompact.

I am 6 foot 4 with a long torso and I drove a EX yesterday and it is cutting it close on the head room I have 2 fingers width from hitting the ceiling and I have to have the seat tilted just a tad. I am waiting for a LX to come in to see how the extra inch and a half of head room feels. I would still get the EX as I am still comfortable in it I just like as much headroom as I can get.

How are you in the EX? being 6 foot 6 and all?

Dont forget that drivers seat has height adjustment. Drop it to the floor to give you as much headroom as possible.

Congratz.

I'd think you'd get at least some side skirts or some lips like you did on previous generations. But no, not even on the highest trim. It's hard to discern the trims.

You know if I traded my 2012, I'd keep my honda mats that were included in the purchase. Think they'd fit okay in the 2015?

Room is not an issue for me, my issue...with all Hondas/Acuras is my right knee. It always just hits/rests on the lower dash. Thats ok though, I am comfortable...its as roomy as my 95 Integra GSR sedan and more roomy than the 2013 I was also looking at.

Shockwave, I would think the mats wouldn't swap over to the new gen...but I have been know to be wrong.

Glad other tall people are having success at fitting... I'm 6'5" with a long torso and test drive the EX, which is a no go. Head pressed pretty hard into the moonroof. Waiting for an LX to show up around here but I expect I'll fit fine! As for the back seat, plenty of leg room, but can't fit my head in without tilting it. No refresh mode for me

Since I am more leg than anything I have just enough room, but if I wanted to spike my hair up I would not fit, lol.
