Delayed arrival caused by lack of trains?

I think that Honda is playing a bit of the "preemptive vaporware" game with the release. Makers with popular software often promise new releases far in advance of the actual date of release to keep customers from buying competitors products.
The automotive press, always mindful of ad revenue, has been remarkably silent on this issue. They've had a "first drive" media event and can therefore put out puff pieces for the next few weeks. It's actually to Honda's advantage to not let them have a more extensive test for a while.
Consumer Reports, with all its faults, isn't bound by ad revenue so they can at least ask the question of where the cars are.
As far as what the dealers and salespeople go, 99% of them will say whatever they think will get you to buy a car. Reality has nothing to do with their statements.

There's no reason for Honda to take back 2013s. They've sold them to the dealers so they are the dealer's problem, not Honda's.
