Tailgate fine I think. Bumper not too bad, left an imprint of her license plate frame on the plastic, and ripped off the lower "sport trim" valance. The body shop will examine underneath the plastic this Thursday. Older sedan, so it was bumper to bumper.

Hi JT, do you happen to know if the suspension is the same as the GE8? Would like to transfer my coilovers to the gk once I get it.

my car is pretty much stock (coil overs and wheels and thats it) and there is nothing on the back windows.

I know its a very similar setup but does have different part #s from GE to GK from Tein so I fear while similar it wont be an item you can swap across

Ahh really hoping it was interchangeable like GD AND GE. Thank you so much. You saved me so much research. Hahaha. Now have to sell my APEX-I coilovers

Why not just try it and find out?

No one knew the GE and GD were interchangeable until it was tried...the part numbers are different between those two as well.

for sure, cant hurt. different part #s are never a good omen though.

much easier to hold on to the suspension and then sell once you know for sure.

Here's the permanent OFF switch for the START/STOP feature you were wishing for:

NOBLESSE `ƒmƒuƒŒƒbƒZ` ...it's in with the FIT3 parts!

awesome! thanks for the link.

Fitted a Js racing decat pipe about a year ago and the ECU has hated it setting off a bunch of warnings, 1 of them being disabling the idle stop! Haha

Oh! Is there any Japanese manufacturer like Tomei doing a header / down pipe? The only ones I'm seeing are from Thailand and seem a bit crude in construction~

Post up some links please!

only Js racing that I know of. the L15B has an intergrated exhaust manifold (its part of the head) so the front / dump pipe looks almost like a turbo dump pipe... one thing is that you have to block off the EGR and that upsets the ECU with lots of errors and warning lights.

yes mine is an RS, although only difference for RS is slightly stiffer suspension (I swapped to Tein coil overs anyway) some trim/options and orange color is only available for RS. performance wise is same as other 1.5 litre Fits.

I use it as the daily and like all the generations of Fit, economy/cargo/reliability are all good so it works very well for what I bought it for.

On the highway ~135hp is not crazy fast but will cruise at 160kph easily.

I see thanks for the info

I own a GD3 and I see the specs of the Fit RS it looks damn temping , DOHC , 6 speed and VSA and the blings

I look at Honda Japan I thought is available in some colours too ?

I did test drive a Jazz RS from dealer but somehow the ride feels floaty thou

Is the Fit RS affected by the idle start stop that occur in the Vezel ?

I think from 1.3 to 1.5 the power increase is quite good.

RS comes in standard colors also, but the orange is for RS only.

I found the standard springs quite harsh but car was too high which is why I went tein coil overs (was just to lower it)

Fit RS has the same idle stop which I found annoying.

Mine was a 1.5 too but from 109bhp to 130bhp is a big significance diff I think

I agree the stock spring make it high and makes the car floaty when I test drive it

Has Honda Japan initate a recall already ?

Any problem so far ?

there was a recall for ignition insulation issue. but for the RS that was all.

the hybrid DCT transmission has had many issues and lots of recalls.
