Oil in Intake

Oil in Intake
Hi all. I did my VTC spring yesterday and when I went to put my intake back on I noticed engine oil inside it. I'm new to Fit's but would this point to a bad PCV valve? The engine seems very healthy. Plugs were nice and dry. 70,000 Km on it and it was over maintained by previous owner.
Thanks

I noticed the same when doing a valve adjustment. Replaced my PCV (cheap) and cleaned out the intake, but I'm still seeing oil in the intake. I think the PCV is fine, but the EGR system is really oily because of the high pressure L15B "Earth Dreams" engine.
Side note, since the intake was so oily, I decided to clean my intake valves with Liqui Moly and saw an improvement of 25 mpg -> 37 mpg

if your happy with it, leave it be. It will just gunk up after a while. Seems like you have the skills to clean it whenever you start seeing mpg loss
You can install a catch can, but that usually leads to more headaches.
