4 Liters of Coolant not enough on my fit?
Hi!
Honda Fit 2020 GK
I flushed and replaced (drained only from the petcock below) my coolant yesterday and I noticed that my reservoir doesn't even reach the Min line. I've put all the 4L of coolant with little to no spill at all.
I bought my coolant at a Honda Dealership and asked them how much coolant it would take to replace my non-OE coolant on my fit and they said 4L. I've also read my manual and it says the same (3.98L - w/o heater | change including the remaining 0.42 Liters in the reserve tank). Does that mean I have to add additional 0.42 Liters?
Is it fine to top up my reservoir or on the coolant cap? I've bought another liter and thought of topping up directly on my reserve tank.
Thanks.

Top her up!
You want to add the remaining half liter (approximately) to the overflow. Your overflow should be at the minimum fill line with the system fully charged with coolant. This will ensure proper coolant circulation in AND out of the overflow as the engine comes up to temp.
