Rear alignment issues?

Hadn't rotated my tires for a while and noticed uneven wear on driver's front. Car also pulled a little so I took it in for alignment. They come back and say my rear is not adjustable and is bent. They quote me $1900 to replace rear axle and includes the cost of another alignment which is a bit cheeky IMO but I've used this alignment shop several times over the last decade and trust them somewhat. I've been reading that you can use shims instead but it's a pain and others say it's normal. How do I know if I need to do something about it? The reading is rear left toe +0.40; rear right toe +0.15. They say the spec is +/-0.25. I've hit potholes twice blowing one tire on a snowy pass and another causing a bulge but both times only the front. I've also carried my 550lb friend in the back seat a few times. (850lb payload with 3 ppl hahaha.)

Advice?
Edit - it's a 2015

How does the rear axle get bent?
Is it from an accident? or would doing something like using the rear axle as a lift point cause that issue?

No accident. I gave the alignment readings hoping someone can tell me if it's bad enough to need fixing.

i guess the price sounds about right . the beam axle alone is almost $1200 from Bernardi Honda ! ,this is a shock , i'm pretty sure was just about half that a few years ago

Your axle will never bend from having fat people in it. Or even any weight over the manufacturer limit. The struts would blow out will before that because they take all of the load. Not the steel beam.

I would take it directly to Honda and have them check it out. It sounds to me like the alignment shop has no idea what they are talking about.

i don't think fat people would'nt bend the beam axle , but i can see a good pot hole shot doing some damage , definitely . and it's not the
most robust beam axle out there . when i first bought the car home , i was a little surprised about the piece , seemed a little flimsy

If you are really worried about bending axles just buy one of these. The Progress rear sway bar is more like a rear axle beam brace. Whatever it does it sure made my rear end stiffer.

Any of you get a clunk when turning the wheel doing a slow turn? Coming from passenger side. Reminds me of when my ball joint failed or the tie rod bushing was gone in my old car. I told Honda and alignment shop but they didnt find anything when they looked.

Is it lowered? Seems to me like you can fix all that with shims. Still would be cheaper than a whole rear axle.
