I'm surprised it didn't blow a fuse. That would have been cheaper.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the 2018 or newer EX and EX-L models have variable intermittent wipers? Wonder if those would be more swappable than trying a CR-V or HR-V version.

Yes, some models do have the intermittent wipers. I'll have to check my son's 2019 EX. I'm tempted to put that on my 2015.

This car (CPO bought when reliable used cars were at a premium June '22) is the *only* one I've ever had without variable delay wipers. I'm not in love with this car, but the fuel economy ROCKS, it's reliable, and maybe it'll grow on me.

I'm glad to find this thread and hope to resolve my peeve economically, although it might not be before the car is paid off. Ha!
