16's or 17's

Hey all, I have a 09 Sport, and looking to get new wheels I'm lowered on drop zone springs been on them for about a year, about a 2 inch drop in front and 1.85 in the rear. what do you think the most offset i could do and rim recommendations ? also i want spacers for the rear possible?

There are many threads on this.

Why do you WANT spacers? Why not just buy wheels that......fit?

i am running 16x8 with +25 offset and it gives it an agressive stance without being to far out, with 195,45,16 for tires and ride is great no rubbing and no fender mod. if you want 17 be ready for some work but i would say stay with 16

I would not spend money on new rims if you stay the same size. 17x7 w/ offset not lower than +45 and you wont need to roll fenders. That said, you are lowered 2in vs. the sport 1.3f/1.0r drop so it may cause rubbing.

That's entirely dependent on offset/width/tires/camber/etc.

There's no one catch all answer.

That tire size and wheel offset should be fine for no rub issue.

Im on 17x7 +42 with 195/45/17 Yoko S Drives and a +5mm spacer in the rear on Tein S techs.

Going to a +10mm spacer in the rear and the +5mm to the front with some camber.
