Did your gas mileage take a hit?

QFT!!!

Got to try mine out in the snow this past winter, quite good for an all season, and the wet traction is unbelievably great!

wrt to mpg.... I though I might have taken a mpg or 2 loss, but it probably was the winter/summer gas mixture... I'm currently either matching the mpg I got before, or surpassing it. I also have the DWS 205-50-16...

Not that I could detect... but then I kept the tire pressure at 35 psi during Winter and 37 psi until recently when I downgraded to 34 psi.

Tire Size witha drop

I keep hearing 205/50/16 whats is wrong with the 195/50/16.?

I'm thinking of going with 195/50/16...Looking at the General RT 43. The most quiet comfortable tire, I have experienced. Or The Hankook Ventus V2Concept2.. I purchased a pair of of the Gen's RT 43 for my sons Scion XB 1st Gen 06. Talk about a car that went from road noise & rough ride. To Low noise and comfort that surpassed my FIT 09 with the original Dunlops. Please advise the difference 205 to the 195

Reason for not going with the 195 instead of your choice 205

195/50/R16 is a little smaller than stock diameter. I ran that size for a while, but at stock ride height the tires just looked small. Lowered would probably look okay though. The overall diameter of 205/50/R16 is pretty much identical to stock 185/55/R16 tire diameter.
