Cause it doesn't work for our cars... our TPMS only sends a signal when the tires rotate over 26 or so mph.

Just get the ATEQ Quickset....

That ATEQ Quickset looks awesome! Can anyone confirm it works with the Fit?.... Still means I'd need multiple sets of TPMS sensors though too...

^^^ Yeah, quite a few people on here are using it... can't recall if any 08 owners (but it should still work).

You definitely need a new set of TPMS sensors per wheel set & their ID's, but once you have them the Quickset stores the ID #'s (after you enter them the first time). You can get a set of sensors for about $90 on ebay, and other Honda owners have confirmed they work.

Hmm... Good info to take back to my group! I'm not too worried about my GD as the only time I swap out wheels/tires is at AutoX events and the TMPS is just added unsprung rotational weight

This will come in handy though on the GF's GE as were looking into a second wheel/tire combo for her...

Figured you didn't need them for AutoX... I wouldn't need them either but my 09 has VSA (Navi package), so there's no way to turn it off (VSA) with the TPMS light on.
Check the new wheels though, the TPMS sensors won't fit on some aftermarket wheels.

I will need to research this some as well...Her 2012 is non navi, but last I looked is still equipped with VSA? Her current Konig's do accept the TPMS, and hopefully the replacements I'm looking into will too...

Yeah the 2012's have VSA also... I think it became standard in 2010 or 2011.

Hmm, GOOD to know! How does one deactivate it if the TPMS is present?

Thumbs up

Hold the VSA button down for a few seconds.
