Must GE8 wheel spacers be hubcentric?

In my reading/searching, I'm seeing conflicting claims. Does 2010 Sport use hubcentric wheels/lugs?

Do we absolutely need hubcentric spacers?

Not going the cheap route - I was just having trouble finding HC spacers and wondering why... now I know why!
