Yoko ENVigor 87V or Continental ExtremeContact DWS 87W?!? 205/50/16's... '09 Sport
Hi Everyone,
I'm going to replace my tires soon, after getting 70,000 km out of the OE Turanzas (surprised, but yes, they still suck )...
I had a hell of a time finding any decent 185/55/16's in stock at many shops other than the Bridgestone Grid019's, which I hear/read are REALLY noisy.
So after reading up on here and seeing many of the photos, I'm going to go with the 205/50/16 size which is quite comparable in terms of ratio/diameter, albeit a little wider... It appears the Yoko EnVigor (87V) and Contenential EC DWS (87W)are really popular and well liked choices on here and are in stock at my favourite shop in the 205/50/16 size... I'm not sure which to pick, anyone on here have experience or a strong preference?
UTQG: EnVigor is a 560 A A, EX DWS is a 540 A A
Envigor is a little cheaper and 2 lbs heavier, EX DWS has slighltly higher reviews... Seem quite comparable, thanks for any help/tips experienced members can provide...

My uncle has the dws' on his TSX and he is quite pleased with them. I took it for a spin after he got them and they handle well and have good steering response. As far as noise they were barely noticeably louder than the original Michelin's. I would recommend the dws' to anyone wanting an all weather performance tire
