Wheel Fitment Advice

Wheel Fitment Advice
Since I know relatively nothing about offsets and fitment I'm trying to get some answers before I take the plunge. A friend of mine from the MA has a set of 15x8 +20 offset Konig Wideopens (RPF1 reps) he is willing to trade for my Buddy Club P1's. The tires he has on the wheels are 205/50's.
Right now I have T1R S-coils and 205/50/15's and absolutely NO rubbing. I love the setup. Question being, will the change in offset (+38 to +20) lead to a major rubbing problem? I'm asking this here since a lot of people on FitFreak have low offset wheels.
Any input would be appreciated.

Yes you will rub with that tire size I would run a 195 45 15 and it would be a little stretch on it. Otherwise if you run your current size tire you will have to do some modifications to fender to run it. Running a smaller tire will allow you to run the tire and rim without doing major fender rolling. But if you do it run a smaller tire please that is a big tire like on my car I am running 16 on my Volks VR;s and my tire size is 195 40 15 and it is perfect and I have camber in the front and back (Thanks to Nxt-FIT my boy Luis) and I have no rubbing and I could go lower another two inches.

Thanks for the input. Gonna hold off on them for now. The wheels are currently on 95 Civic hatch and the stick out a bit, but my buddy has coil-overs and a slightly higher ride height than me. He doesn't rub, but after seeing the wheels and tires in person they'd most likely rub on my car.
