Will +35 clear at the rear?

Just wondering I m thinking to buy Enkei RPF1 in 17x7, Im thinking getting +35 instead of +43, but I m afraid will +35 rub or not at the rear? Im using T1R lower springs now, will put camber on the front to clear.

Thanks

Yea man ull be fine ! I'm running 16x7 on a 38 offset and it's like an inch away from the fender if u know what I mean ! Just make sure u get a nice size tire ! I'm running 195-40 and I got a ridiculous wheel gap but it's ok ! I'll get 50 series for my next set of tires if I stay long enough with the wheels lol ! And I forgot to say that I'm on coils and dropped as low as I can go on megans !

For sure man.... but too bad is winter season in Toronto now, so I still cant lower my Fit yet, probably have to wait until April to put the wheels and lower it..... here is the pic of my Fit so far with 15" wheels and snow tires.

I am running 17x8s with a front offset of 38 and a rear offset of 35. I am lowered about 2 inches, and running 205/40-17 with no problems whatsoever.

I'm actually lower with T1R springs and it rub like crazy with my 15x7, +38 on the front even broke my inner fender already. Because Im going to lower it more with coilover in summer and I don't want to roll my fenders to fit, so I decided on +43 RPF1 now

Cool man. RPF1's are nice. The reason you are likely rubbing is due to your tire choice though, not necessarily offset of you wheel.

I'm pretty sure the 45s will rub at that offset if you lower it any.

That is a bit of an ambiguous statement.

I have run 7 sets of wheels and tires on my GE8, all lowered 2 inches, and THE MOST rub I have had is a *slight* polishing of my front fender liner near the wheel well.

And most of those were driven over mid-corner bumps in the mountains, with 4 people in the car, on long road trips, etc. etc.

Please don't post things like "those might rub" or I don't think those will fit" UNLESS YOU KNOW IF THEY WILL OR NOT.

Sorry for the rant but this is just a pet peeve of mine. Besides, nowhere in this entire thread is an offset of 45 even mentioned.

Profile of tire. Have you had 205/45/17s on yours? At what offset?

I apologize for getting worked up. Clearly I misunderstood what you were referring to.

No, I havn't yet, simply because 1:205/45-17 max recommended width is 7.5 (so no stretch) 2: not really a fan of most of whats offered in that size 3: pricing is generally better in 205/40-17

Here's a link to all the wheel and tire setups I have run so far:

Yeah, I was looking around last night, and people have definitely rubbed with 205/45/17s and then not rubbed with the 40 series profile. Something to keep in mind. No worries, it's a pet peeve of mine too.
