'09 Base...195/60/15 or stock 175/65/15?

I need new tires for my '09 Fit but there aren't many options in the stock size. If I were to go with 195/60/15 would I run into any problems? Would anything be affected (i.e. performance, integrity of the tire, any other issues)?

Thanks for the help!

This is an old thread and no one answered. So, what did you do, stock or the oversize? I'm thinking maybe 185/60-15 because i still need clearance for snow cables.

On the Tirerack sponsor site, Yokohama seems to have good choices in all sizes.

If you are still interested, I can let you know tomorrow. I have a set of Konig Daylites that will arrive, with some falken 195/60-15. I have a 2010 Fit sport lowered on swift springs. Wheels will be +40. Im not anticipating any problems. I have seen one other with this size tire as well, with no problems.

Well, Ill still reply. The tires are awesome. There was some rubbing on large bumps on the front fender liner, only cuz of the +40 offset. I Just used a set of SPC camber bolts and adjusted a bit, now they are tucked nice and neat, without any rubbing issues anymore. In fact, the car handles much better this way, and I have gained about an inch of track width with the tires and wheel combo, which feels superb.
