Is anyone running a 16x7.0 with a +40mm offset?
If so, are you running a 50 or 45 series tire and are you lowered at all?
I'll keep checking, but nothing much out there in terms of this fitment on a 09 Sport.
Thanks in advance!

What's your offset and are you dropped at all? Does it rub at all if you hit a bump? Was looking at the same wheel/tire setup with +43 offset (RPF1's) and 1.2"F 1.0"R drop (Progress springs). Sound pretty solid?

+42 offset no rubbing on bumps, yes I am dropped about 1.8 up front and 1.5 in the rear. Only rubbing comes from extremely hard cornering. You should be fine on that setup ur wanting to run.

Is this the GD in your sig? Mine's a GE; apparently there's a big difference with offsets and drop potential

Buddy club doesnt make a 16in wheel with a +40 offset

Tire sizes will be slightly different depending on the chassis.
GD: 205/45R16
GE: 205/50R16
On my GD1, I have 16x7 +45 wheels at stock height and I use 205/45 tires. No rubbing whatsoever.
GEs are okay with the same tread width but the aspect ratio should be a little bigger.

2mm always makes a difference
I know this is a GE8 thread, but I had +42 rims on my car and massive rubbing problems... I went to +45 and it all went away!
Also here is a link the the lightweight wheel thread, it details all the rims that come in high offsets and are lighter than the OEM rims:

Chris, could you sticky that thread for me. It is a valuable database for anybody looking for rims with high offsets.
