i was running rota 16x7's 40mm offset on 215/45 R16's. i was dropped about an inch with swift springs. not even close to rubbing...probably still a 3-4 finger gap lol.

even if you're dropped about 2 inches on the GE, you probably won't rub with a 2xx/50 R16 profile tire. i doubt it will even rub with 17 inch rim and 45 profile.

Skinny--you have a GE?

I have Swift Springs as well and am looking at wheel sizes. I would like to run 205/50/16 tires.

I have 16x7 +40 with a 3mm spacer 205/50's lowered on ebiach sportline springs and the fronts rub on bumps and just a bit on turns and the backs only rub on big bumps. I'm sure once I get the fenders rolled and maybe a slight pull it will all be good.

I know what you mean redrumm, but for some reason I really like it.

I pm'd skinny to see if he had any pics of that setup.

I would LOVE...like would order TOMORROW if I knew I could run 16x7 40mm on 205/50's with my Swift Springs and not rub. Seriously. I wish there was someone around here, even 2-3 hours away that would let me try their rims...just for a drive around the damn block to see if I could get any rubbing. Damn.

They are kind of meaty. This is my first try with these wheels, but they do fit the wheel well pretty good

+40 is going to be fine for around town, it will rub a bit.

However if you plan to get them for racing of any kind you better go with the +45 offset rims. A little rub here and there around town that isn't a big deal can turn into a serious problem very quickly on the track or course.

I'm running 205 50 on a 35 offset and don't rub on auto x so he shouldn't rub at all. Just add some camber to the front I would run 215 instead of 205 if your offset is that high
