09 aftermarket wheels CAUTION

I jumped the gun and had these rims installed. No rubbing at all, but then again I'm the only one riding the car. I use our CR-V when my family is with me.
ADR Propulsion. I got them rims and tires for just $475 via Craiglist and they're brand new. Former owner had to get rid of it 'cause he sold his Civic and bought a BMW.

It's been 2 weeks since I installed my wheels. Still no evidence of rubbing.

^It's 56.1 from all the sources I've checked
I'm also posting this info in as many relevant threads as possible
17x7 +42 on 205/40/17 on Tanabe DF210 springs DID rub in the fronts only on HUGE bumps (which, unfortunately, is par for the course on socal freeways). To eliminate rubbing completely I dialed in 2.25 degrees of negative camber on the front with two sets of ingalls 14mm fastcam bolts (part # 81260). There was no rubbing in the rear at all!

I have a question
I'll be dropping my car soon on T1R-S Coil Springs and I wanted to get Rota SVN-R. Would I rub if I get it on 17x7.5 + 45 and maybe 205/45/17 tires?? Sorry, noobie here about this stuff

205/45x17 tires are 3/4" wider and one quarter inch larger in diameter than stock 185/55x16" tires. The 45mm offset is good but the 7.5" rim width means the tire is expanded. If it doesn't rub when you drop 1.5" it'll be a miracle.
And not mentioning the drop in acceleration and mpg you'll get.

I agree with Mahout! I was debating over this same thing as I too have the t1r s coils on my fit! I am going with 16x7's to make sure I don't have any rubbing issues! You can run a 16x7 +43 with a 205/45 without any problems rubbing on the t1r s coils from what i've read/heard!

When are you getting your rims???? Post pics please!!!
I might have to experiment with my rims though 'cause I really want 17s

Don't have the wheels yet! Trying to pay off some bills before I make the purchase! I am also going to have them powdercoated and i'm still trying to figure out which color I want! If you want 17's check out team dynamics pro race 1.2! They make 17's in offset's as high as +55mm I believe! They also have a matching centerbore that fits the fit which won't require "hubcentric rings"!

Wouldn't shipping kill me?
PS They do have nice rims though and the Pro Race 1.2 is sweet! I'd rock 'em

I know 5x racing here in Florida can get them! I believe Team Dynamics North America's info is:
Team Dynamics
1885 South Vineyard Avenue, Ontario, CA(909) 947-0114.
You could give them a call and see what they say as far as ordering! If you go to google shopping and put in the pro race 1.2 it will bring up quite a few places that carry/can get the wheels! I like the pro race 1.2 but I want something lighter than something almost as heavy as the stock wheel! The 16" will not allow you to keep the tpms sensors! The 17" will from what I was told by 5x racing!

40 offset will rub in the front most likely depending on the brand of tires, some make them a tad wider. 38 will most definitely rub. a 43 offset on a 7 inch wheel is the best to use in terms of rubbing.
